- Races: Anything other than 100% human
- Powers: Animagi, Metamorphmagi, Parselmouths, Legilimency, Occlumency
- Nations of Origin: None, at this time
- Backgrounds: Abusive childhoods, light-aspected characters
Getting Started
- Title your post with your character name.
- First, copy the contents of the code box at the top of the Character Application, below, into your post. This template contains the phpBB formatting so that your post will have lists and be pretty.
- Next, answer those questions about your character. For any question that requires more than a one or two word answer, there should be at least one, if not three, complete sentences . Do not begin your answers to those questions on the same line as the question. Spelling and grammar are moderately important, and we do have a spellchecker installed. I want to know that my players are educated enough to participate in intellectually stimulating RP.
Question Help
- For "Skin colour", we're looking for an actual colour descriptor, here, whether that's a description (off-white with a hint of yellow), a crayon colour (peach), or a hex value (EAD5C9). Hell, if you want to use hex, here's a handy skin colour chart, for it.
- Some questions may have admin restrictions on them. These are clearly marked. If you would like to play a character who is not wholly human, speaks parseltongue, or is an animagus -- or any other strange variant not on the form -- please contact an admin in advance. I suggest Arcturus. He's the more pleasant of us, with non-technical issues.
- For questions about your wand, you can either use our guide to designing a wand or go to Alivan's and choose a wand.
- For "Bloodline", the answer should be 'Pureblood', 'Mixed', or 'Muggle-born'.
- For "Personality Type", go take this test with your character's personality in mind, then paste your result to answer the question. The answer should be four letters long.
